post-herpetic trigeminal neuralgia

Is there any help for me with t-herpetic trigeminal neuralgia? This followed a laser operation to improve vision in my right eye, some ten or eleven years ago. Since then I have had constant pain in my right temporal area, and nothing seems to help. Last year I tried a "burning-out" operation from a "doctor", which was incredibly painful, and did nothing at all.
Do I have to put up with this for the rest of my life (I am male, almost 80 years old)? Or is there anything you can suggest?
I live in Cyprus (Zypern) and would probably have to import any special drugs.
